Ah, Yes - The Female Orgasm. It's a mythical creature, known better to some than others - and not at all, to many. We like to promote the idea that men and women are more similar than different, but it's hard to deny that when it comes to...um...coming, we are completely different - as if we have totally different private parts. Not only can the female orgasm present a real quandary for anyone attempting (often through way too much effort) to deliver one, it can be even more baffling to women themselves when psychology and emotions play such a huge role in preventing one, no mater how the physical variables are tweaked. Furthermore, there are a number of different types of orgasms (today we'll explore cervical stimulation) and none of them is a global catchall, guaranteed to work for everyone. To recap: there's a lot that can get in the way of female orgasms and we don't totally understand female orgasms, and there's a lot of different ways to achieve orgasm, but none of these ways is guaranteed for anyone. Confused? Don't be. Join Host, Ben Robbins, Sex Therapist, Lisa Thomas, and Social Worker, Jenn Siegal for a candid discussion of sex and ladies' private parts and all of the factors that make the female orgasm one of the most common challenges in the vast spectrum of human sexuality.
