In this first episode of the Family MedCast, we review the essential prenatal labs needed for evaluating pregnant patients, and when those labs should be drawn.

For convenience, we've included an infographic in the Show Notes that can be used as a reference. We've left plenty of white space to take notes. Throughout the episode, we give handy mnemonics for keeping track of which labs you need for each week.

Access the printer-friendly study guide here.

ERRATA:

At 4:15 and 4:30, we briefly said Dtap for pregnant patients around 28 weeks. It is instead a Tdap, which is correct in the larger discussion later in the episode. (First episode jitters).
