Solve Problems Together, Be Generous With Warm Fuzzies & Build Competencies
This is day two of five – I am going to leave the original text below so that you are not forced to go back to the beginning to see what is going on!

I am literally compelled to share this with all of you who are in the “parenting” space… that is… if you are a father, mother, know a parent… heir apparent.
Why? I hear you asking… first of all… the guy who wrote the book is a Professor of Psychology and Child Psychiatry at Yale University and Director of the Yale Parenting Center. He was the 2008 President of the American Psychological Association and is the author of 49 books for parents.
Suffice to say, he has some “street cred”. In a neverending quest for knowledge, I stumbled across his free course on Coursera – Everyday Parenting: The ABCs of Child Rearing – by Yale University.
This is another item I would recommend… hands down? hands up? raise the roof!!
What I have done is taken conclusion of the book “The Kazdin Method for Parenting the Defiant Child“, where Dr. Kazdin breaks down 12 Fundamental Tools for your toolbox… perhaps you have one of them… or perhaps you have many of them already in your toolbox… as he has stated, it is rare that anyone has all twelve of these at their disposal. And I have taken the essence of them and put a quick series of videos together for you.
It is my intent that you gain a new tool or two for yourself, and may even be compelled to check out the course or read this book in full as what I am going to review via the videos is simply the tip of the iceberg!
