She has worked clinically in Illinois, North Carolina and South Carolina, providing patients with medical nutrition therapy and diabetes management. As a health professional, she only provides guidance and information that is scientifically validated to improve health. Basheerah also holds an MBA from Duke University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University.
