Laurinda Lee

Laurinda Lee has decided to do think differently when it comes to youth empowerment.

In particular, she is focused on helping to create enterprise and skills for youth on the fringes.

Laurinda studied music at Indiana university. Her passion for creativity and her pull for business were the catalyst for Kind Karma Company.
Kind Karma helps to provide at risk youth to think about their lives differently with the skills and knowledge to create jewelry and sell it via the Kind Karma brand.

In this episode, Laurinda and I discuss:

  • her journey through discovering her own path
  • the difference between doing something for someone and doing something with someone
  • how learning skills for themselves can help change a young person’s vision of what is possible for them in other areas of life
  • why Kind Karma Company is willing to take a new approach on forging a path for at risk youth
