I recorded this show to serve as a wake up call for all you dads who are unhappy, out of shape, not being active enough, eating a crappy diet, and who have let life more or less overtake them.

Life is far too short to be lived feeling like crap every day and it's time to make a big change.

So why aren't more dads killing it every day? Why are so many carrying around a thick layer of fat around their midsection, struggling up a flight a stairs, and running out of energy before the day is even half over?

It's because we're choosing to sit all day, stuff fast food down our throats all the time, drink plenty of beer, and rarely take time for exercise. It's the American way and it's literally killing us.

But life isn't intended to suck and we aren't meant to walk around with our heads down and just waiting for tomorrow. Life is about today and living each day to its fullest.

And there is no f*cking way we can do that when we spend our days staring at screens, avoiding movement, and eating heavily processed garbage every day.

It's not happening.

So my suggestion is this: get up off your ass and get to work. Not tomorrow, not next Monday. Now.

And I want you to imagine what your life will be like when you feel amazing about yourself. When you look in the mirror and love what you see. When you finally fit into those size 34 pants. When you have more energy than you know what to do with. When you have the confidence you once had again.

This is how life should be every day. And as someone who has lived on both sides of this, I can say with certainty that it's entirely possible to have it all.

But it will never just come to you. Your schedule isn't going to magically clear up and give you a ton of free time. No, you're going to have to make yourself the priority and then get after it with everything you've got.

The men in the Fit Dad Nation Inner Circle are perfect examples of dads who have committed to getting themselves fit, healthy, and in charge of their lives. And it's awesome to see.

I want this show to mean something for you. I want it to be the catalyst for change. And I'm here if you need help.
