Ryan Walters and Matthew Binns are joined by Bucheon 1995 columnist George Slade to take a look back on K League 1 Round 13 and K League 2 Round 12. They each give their main takeaways from a high scoring weekend that saw some lopsided results in K1, and narrow victories in the increasingly tight K2. Matthew sits down with Suwon FC forward and South African international Lars Veldwijk in the second segment to discuss his move from Jeonju to Suwon. The two discuss the trend of players moving directly to Korea from the Eredivisie, the reason he left Jeonbuk, fitting in to a very good Suwon side, and what promotion would mean to his new club. The third segment sees Ryan, Matthew, and George look ahead to the weekend to preview the upcoming matches in both divisions and which games to keep an eye on in particular. A number of teams next to each other in the table square off in K1 and K2, and there's plenty of mention of a certain manager that probably should be on the hot seat right now. Finally, they catch up on previous Eulji Lewis Mailbag questions from weeks past regarding Jeonbuk success and how much José Morais influences it... if at all. They also discuss K2 unsung heroes, new signings, and Choi Yong-soo's longevity as FC Seoul manager. All that and more in this edition of the K League United Podcast.
