October is our favorite time of year so we wanted to bring you something a little different, in the form of real-life ghost stories and creature encounters. Tales like these are the seeds that folklore springs from. We hope you enjoy them, because we certainly did!

This and next week's episode are a little different than usual in that we have a special guest! That means there is more commentary, it's a little more casual, and we talk about things we usually don't touch on in our normal episodes - but, whether you're a believer or a skeptic, all opinions and views have value and veracity. As we discuss in part 1 - each person's reality is entirely different from everyone else's. And we all really live in the matrix, anyway. ;)

Cocktail of the week (well, 2 weeks): The Grave Robber. See here for recipe and pics: http://folkloreontherocks.com/show-notes-for-episode-5-spooktacular-special-part-1

If you have any personal stories about creatures, monsters, or cryptids (even if you don't know what it was), please email us at stories@folkloreontherocks.com so we can eventually do a listener episode (similar to this but more creature-based)! Visit us at folkloreontherocks.com for more in depth notes, links, and pictures.

Once we hit 100 iTunes reviews, we'll release a bonus episode with a listener selected creature! Please rate and review us when you have a moment, as it will help us immensely!
