Dave Eggar is a Rock Star Cellist. He’s a 5x Grammy nominee. He plays classical, rock, bluegrass and more. He’s worked with some of the biggest names in music including Paul Simon, John Legend, Norah Jones, Foreigner, Josh Groban and Train. And it’s his cello that opens Coldplay's massive hit "Viva La Vida".
On a personal note, I met Dave recently when he was hired as the cellist and quarterback of the string quartet which recorded an upcoming work of mine called “Ma Petite Fleur String Quartet”, which transformed my jazz ballad into a classical string quartet piece. More to come on this shortly.
