Michael Shrieve is the legendary drummer with Santana who became a superstar at Woodstock with his incredible drum solo in “Soul Sacrifice” during the band’s set. He went on to play with a Who’s Who in the music business including Steve Winwood and Al Di Meola in GO, a fusion supergroup, another band with Sammy Hagar and Neil Schon, and with Supertramp’s Roger Hodgson among others. He also played on the Rolling Stones album Emotional Rescue. And he’s collaborated with Todd Rundgren, Jaco Pastorius and Nile Rodgers among others.
