While the industry raises $370 million in certifications for sustainability, none of those funds are used to combat climate change. No one is researching how to make coffee a sustainable crop, or how farmers can protect their plants from coffee rust – that is, until BeanLedger. Amelia tells us exactly what’s at stake for the coffee industry, and how desperately we need to fund research on coffee growing.
