Welcome back to For The Creators, where its our job to demystify creativity. In these long form conversations we tease out tips and tricks from all kinds of creatives whether theyre Musicians, radio Presenters, Actors, Directors, DJs, Writers Entrepreneurs and everything in between..
Today we sit down with True Tiger. True Tiger is what I like to call a cultural influencer, with hands in many pies. He runs a record label, manages artists of various types (singers, actors, painters) and came up producing and DJing.
We explore the early parts of modern UK culture and how it has developed over the past two decades or so and how that inspired True Tiger to start a record label, wave the flag for Grime in the early days with the likes of Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, Skepta) to working with Ed Sheeran and Kurupt FM. We also explore modern art as True Tiger is a bit of an enthusiast and I was curious to learn more about his foray into the art world.
For anyone that loves garage, grime or anything UK this one is especially for you. And for everyone else that is curious, this is a great insight into our culture.
