This week on the award-winning 'For the People' John Voket hits the road from the coast to the Massachusetts border to shine a light on the tragic vandalism that hit Roses for Autism, destroying a nearly completed sensory garden for staff and visitors on the spectrum. Then it's off to Ellington to meet one of the 2016 Connecticut Zero Energy Challenge and learn why this sprawling farmhouse demands virtually no heating, water, or electrical usage from the grid. And then introduce another Ellington family who established Today I Matter, in memory of a loved one who fell victim to the state's opioid epidemic - to help others cope with their demons and stigmas.
