FTN small square

We talk about new new preorder models and what we know about the Inquisitors and the new Dense Cover Rules for #new40k. At the end the show we talk about how to get more use out of your Skorpius Dunestrider kit. Spoiler – you can make it completely modular with no magnets.

Hey hey,

We talk about how cool the new Inquisitor looks and then jump right into the new terrain rules.

We ponder about the ‘length’ of the wording and how that gives a lot of gamers pause in 40k because we are used to some people having a poor experience with people misinterpreting the wordy rules. I don’t think were lined up for that. I think that once we get some awareness out there on how its supposed to work we’ll all know how it works and we’ll have fun with it. Don’t sweat it folks!

Please please please check out the new Forge The Narrative objective markers. These things look awesome. Ordering a set is a good way to support one of our sponsors AND the show. Find them here.

We sort of talk about the compromises that organizers may make when they are defining the terrain for their events. Absolutely do the same thing in your home games. It’s better to get the ‘function’ from a sketchy piece of terrain and eventually build the look of the terrain up over time than to not be playing with the new rules when they come out.

Terrain makes the game. It gives us a dynamic play experience that makes so many more army lists viable and present interesting generalship issues for each player.

We’re delighted to continue to represent Discount Games Inc as sponsor of our show. They are helping bring FTN to you. Please check them out and support the organizations that support us. Discount Games Inc. offers Games Workshop products at 15% off the suggested retail at their website here. You can send an email to the owner Jay. These guys run a podcast too! Check them out.

The hobby segment WILL be back next week.

Thank you and Enjoy!

Forge the Narrative is mostly a Warhammer 40k Podcast. Each episode is about an hour long. This ideally gives you something neat to listen to on your way to work, or on the way back home. Maybe you can even listen while you are painting or modeling!

Please follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook!

FTN mostly focuses on 40k, but again you will see in the first few episodes we take a severe deep dive into nerdom. These have been a blast to record and I hope they help pass the time for you.
