Cancer clinical trials provide patients with access to new therapies. When a patient participates in a clinical trial they are helping to move cancer treatment forward and provide hope for the future of cancer care. However, less than 1/3 of all cancer clinical trials meet their recruitment goals, and only 2-3% of adults participate in a clinical trial.
