In the first episode of the new and improved Today’s U Podcast, From The U, managing editor Andrew Kulha delves deep into Texas A&M football and the issues surrounding the program.

It has more to do than winning and losing for the Aggies, who saw both of their starting quarterbacks transfer this offseason and one cite what could almost be described as a culture of entitlement.

The drama for Texas A&M escalated recently when an assistant coach went on Twitter and basically passive aggressively called out a five-star quarterback who decommited from the Aggies. That led to the quarterback’s friend, a four-star Texas A&M commit in his own right, mind you, to also decommit from Texas A&M, saying he didn’t want to play for that type of coach.

Perception isn’t a good thing for Texas A&M right now, and the podcast goes into that as well as thoughts on the positives and negatives of social media in general.

Big 12 expert and Today’s U reporter Wendell Barnhouse also joins the From The U Podcast. Barnhouse speaks with Kulha about the Big 12 conference and its plans for possible expansion, but also doesn’t think that the conference should rush to any decision.

Some possible additions are discussed, as well as the impact expansion to 12 teams (from 10) would have on the Big 12 as an already thriving college basketball conference.
