The commander of an occult objects recovery unit recalls a lost love while patrolling the Mediterranean during World War II.Author Mark Orr lives in Middle Tennessee with his wife of forty years, a couple of cats, a history degree and way too many books. On his best days, he gets to play with his grandchildren - currently four, with a fifth expected by the end of 2021. He has recently returned to writing short stories, a form in which he had a small degree of success during the first decade or so of the current millennium.
