Welcome to GDD! Today we are trying something different — I asked the Indie Game Chat Facebook group "Why Do You Make Games?" 140 game developers answered, and I hope you enjoy hearing the results. To summarize everyone's answer into one statement it would be:

"I am passionate about making games because I get to express myself creatively while solving interested problems resulting in the creation of worlds and telling of interactive stories that connect with people — all while having fun, pursuing financial freedom, and sharing the joy I experienced playing games." Tune in every week for new episodes on game development related topics on marketing, the development process, & tactics for becoming a successful indie gamedev. We have much to learn. _______________________ For show notes and links mentioned in the podcast visit: http://www.gamedevdeconstructed.com Follow GDD on you socials: https://www.facebook.com/gamedevdeconstructed/ https://twitter.com/GDDeconstructed ** Please rate & subscribe to the podcast **
