Lisa was so proud to interview an up and coming Game Changer, Jayda Edwards along with her parents as she continues to make strides once said would never be available to her. Jayda's mother explains the doctors recommended she and her dad abort her life because she would most likely be born with Down Syndrome. Jayda instead was born to be a very healthy child earning honors since kindergarten. Jayda is most recently nominated by of all her 8 grade teachers for the prestigious Jag Excellence Award – Student of the year. Then the hour got oh so festive with the Honorary for Barbados Consul at Atlanta, Dr. Edward Layne. In his capacity as Honorary Consul, he has provided guidance for the formation of several Caribbean-American ventures including Computer Literacy programs in the Caribbean schooling systems and programs improving teaching of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and teaching of entrepreneurship. Dr. Layne excitedly shared the Barbados Consul's greatest venture, Barbados Comes to Atlanta 2016, a Trade, Investment and Cultural Exchange (May 26-29, 2016).
