What is Genius? Is it a person who is super-smart? Someone special? Someone out of reach? No. A Genius is you. Genius, from Latin, means ‘attendant spirit present from one's birth, innate ability or inclination’. Peter Freeth will be using his skills in behavioural and cognitive modelling to discover what it is that makes talented people tick. You'll discover some amazing secrets to help you be more successful. You'll even learn something about yourself. Come along for the ride, and discover your Genius. We’re surrounded by interesting people who have refined their craft to the level where we can’t easily see what they’re doing to achieve amazing results. In any team, in any business, in any walk of life you’ll find people who effortlessly outperform all of their peers put together, and no matter how carefully you watch them, you’ll never figure out what they’re doing differently, because they continually react and adapt to their changing environment. If we want to learn from people who have honed their talents over a lifetime, we can’t simply ask them because they don’t know, we have to get inside their heads and reverse engineer their behaviours, their perceptions and their decisions so that we can reveal how their brains are wired to enable a level of excellence which is inspiring to see in action. In this podcast series, I’m going to delve into the brains of some amazing people and you’re going to learn the shortcuts to success. What could be finer? Let’s get started.
