Nathalie Johnston is the founder and curator of Myanm/art. She's also the member of a Yangon based art collective called Pyinsa Rasa. She has created other art projects such as 7000 Padauk, and Myanmar Art Resource Center & Archive (MARCA). Listen to her journey from growing up around Asian influences and studying art, to now offering a platform for contemporary art and encouraging avant-garde artists in Myanmar. When not researching happenings in the arts and crafts, you can find her savoring craft beers while working on her book on Southeast Asian art. Myanm/art is an art gallery and exhibition space in downtown Yangon that showcases and promotes contemporary art of Myanmar. MARCA – Myanmar Art Resource Center and Archive is an online and physical resource that serves the artist and creative community by providing an expansive collection of documented material across Myanmar.
