She has worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies at Georgetown University, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee, and ran her own fundraising and event planning business. She is the creator of the blog America's Table, and lives in Washington, DC. Jeremy Bernard was the first male and first gay White House Social Secretary. He has been the senior advisor to the US Ambassador in France and also the White House Liaison to the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). He has worked on various political campaigns, including the 1992 Clinton for President Campaign and the 1993 and 2009 Presidential Inaugural Committees, and was appointed by President Clinton to the Presidential Advisory Committee on the Arts of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. He is a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy.
