Statistics show that over 30% of the population own either a dog or cat. Many own more than one pet. That equates to 150,000,000 companion animals in the US in over 80,000,000 households. Sadly some of these households will face divorce, which creates the need to find solutions for the continued care for the companion animals. Join us with Steve Rakowski, a Family Law Attorney from K & R Family Legal Services, L.L.P and a Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois Fellow, as we discuss the latest trends in managing companion animals as part of the divorce process. Be sure to subscribe and to check back for updates on future shows and topics. Also let us know if there are questions on divorce, separation and starting over that you want our need answered at info@splitready.com Are you considering divorce, get split ready at www.splitready.com Are you wondering if you are split ready, take our free, no cost assessment at https://www.splitready.com/assessment/ Getting Split Ready is produced by Ernie Scatton and EAS Productions.
