Welcome to Episode 12 of Glory Days of Gold. This week's episode is brought to you by Michael Hunter and the Auckland Supporters Group, and The Bedwell Group.
Recorded across THREE continents this week, Glory Days of Gold brings you a regular dose of East Fife FC and Scottish football chat, with a splattering of interesting interviews, fun segments, and music thrown in along the way.
Our feature interview this week is with a member of the 2015/16 East Fife Championship winning team, and a man who spent seven seasons at Bayview, Stevie Campbell.
We chat with Stevie about his time at Bayview, that championship season, coming through the ranks at Ibrox, the injuries that plagued his early years, playing in Australia, and moving to become a teacher in Dubai, amongst many other topics. Through them all his love for East Fife shines brightly.
There's lots of fun tales to be told along the way including being wound up as a young player at Partick Thistle and nearly shitting himself on the pitch. And where does Beetlejuice come into all of this?! Plus he doesn't hold back when talking about Willie Aitchison's time at the club and his own time at Airdrie!
All this and we find out if Tam McManus fancies a chocolate digestive, Cameron Barnes is this week's artist in Have You Heard?, Wardie Burns, Jordan Butler and Werd SOS feature in this week's football music section Wavelength, and there's another Who Are You?.
Here's the rundown for the main segments from the episode:
03.48: East Fife and Scottish football chat
12.32: Have You Heard? - Cameron Barnes
18.30: Stevie Campbell interview
