The Falcons appeared to be on the ropes early, but hung in there, and went blow for blow with Plainfield down the stretch in what turned out to be a classic. The Falcons overcame a five point deficit late to pull out a 46-44 win thanks to the efforts of Quenton DeCosey, who earned Player of the Game honors by scoring 8 of his 12 points in the fourth quarter including a three pointer to tie the game, and the go ahead basket with less than 30 seconds left. Dijon Allen-Jordan led all scorers with 16 points for the Cardinals while Sekou Harris chipped in with 14 and Justin Sears added 6.
