"Movements: The Twelve Characteristics of Movement Leaders", part 1 continues our series on a hot topic in missions today, Movements. “Church Planting Movements” or “Disciple Making Movements” are phrases that describe a multiplying movement of churches which result in exponential church growth. The basic requirement to qualifying as a CPM or DMM is that your churches have multiplied themselves to the fourth generation or more, (The first church births a new church, that church then births a new church, and so on). A new ministry called 24:14 is tracking such movements and at the publishing of this podcast is monitoring more that 1,369 such movements among Unreached Peoples. In this episode David Garrison shares his experiences with the rapid growth of movements in the world today and why that might be happening now.
