I believe that way too many Believers think that 'loving on the Lord' is all about their feelings! I believe that those Believers who live their spiritual lives solely thru their emotions foolishly belief that just because they have these warm, mushy, kissy-huggy feelings for God...He (God) must have the same warm, mushy feelings for them! There are a lot of Believers who have 'deceived' themselves into thinking that they're 'right with God' because they feel good about how they feel about God. (Did you notice all the feely words?) Brethren, it's good to 'love on the Lord' with our hearts...so long as it's not only our hearts that are 'loving on Him'! When Yeshua Christ was ministering, He always told His Followers to PROVE that they loved Him (and the Father) by being obedient to My Word...and NOT by simply be telling Me that you love ME! 'Loving on the Lord'...the way He commands us to 'love on Him' means that we must worship Him using spirit (i.e. emotions) and (biblical) Truth! One with out the other is simply 1/2 hearted love!
