This week, I was joined on the podcast by Deke Sharon. Often, considered "the father of contemporary a cappella", Deke shared the story of his barbershop roots, his early years with the Tufts University Beelzebubs, his professional career with The House Jacks and founding The Contemporary Acappella Society of America (CASA). Deke and I also talked about his involvement in "The Sing Off" and "Pitch Perfect", as well as his recent collaborations with the Barbershop Harmony Society.
