Whoever knows fear burns at the touch of the Man-Thing! And we had a similar response to reading this comic book! Chad, Paul, and Kevin are joined by expert Adam Teterus (Man-Thing Minute), to cover R.L. Stine's infamous 2017 Marvel series. This story shows the usually-horrifying Man-Thing now a joke machine trying to survive the entertainment industry in Burbank, California. It's certainly a comic book with some fantastic art by German Peralta! To know the better side of the shambling mound's stories we also read the classic issue Man-Thing #4 (1974) written by Steve Gerber and art by Val Mayerik. In that we meet the religious zealot and Marvel D-Lister The Foolkiller! This is a pretty wild episode as we compare the two very different works about the same character. Enjoy the listen!

Book discussion begins: 4:20

OFF TOPICS: Chicken Coins, Dave & Buster's afterlife, Kevin's prized smoothie machine
