This week Cariad talks to writer and social entrepreneur, Lee Lawrence (The Louder I Will Sing), about his experience of injustice and grief for his mum, Cherry Groce, who was wrongly shot in her Brixton home by police in 1985. The bullet shattered her spine and she never walked again and passed away many years later due to complications from the incident. As ever we talk grief, childhood + difficult decisions.

You can follow Lee on Twitter and Instagram @MrLeelawrence and his book, The Louder I Will Sing, is available from all good book shops from the 17th of September 2020. You can follow the Griefcast on twitter and instagram @thegriefcast.

Griefcast is hosted by Cariad Lloyd, edited by Kate Holland, recorded at Whistledown Studios (or Cariad's living room in lockdown), artwork is by Jayde Perkin and the music is provided by The Glue Ensemble. And remember, you are not alone.

Rose D'or Nominee 2019, Podcast of the Year 2018, Best Podcast ARIA's 2018.
