On this episode of Gritty Bowmen, Aron Snyder and myself hang out with the Eastmans, Guy and Ike Eastman of the Eastmans’ Hunting Journal, Eastmans’ Bowhunting Journal and Eastmans’ TV.

The Eastmans’ tradition began in 1956 with Gordon Eastman. Gordon was a true pioneer in adventure hunting and outdoor wildlife cinematography. His first project was in the wilds of Alaska. He was also among the first to ever film in the North Country, and built such a solid reputation that Walt Disney himself hired Gordon to film outdoor productions in the 1960s.

Today Mike, Guy and Ike carry on Gordon’s legacy by producing the industry-leading publications of Eastmans’ Hunting and Bowhunting Journals in combination with the award-winning Eastmans’ Hunting TV show that airs 52 weeks a year and showcases fair chase rifle and bow hunts on all western big game.

This is just a fun podcast with some solid dudes! If you’re not subscribed to Eastmans’ Hunting Journal and/or Eastmans’ Bowhunting Journal you should go to www.eastmans.com and get signed-up.
