I have been in this amazing industry for over 10 years. I still feel the excitement today as I did from day one. I have lived in Central Iowa most of my life. I love spending time with my husband and daughter, while we go mushroom hunting, long walks in the woods, stargazing, listening to music, watching the latest blockbusters and of course all things hair. I didn't know until later in life what I wanted to do. Most thought I was going to be a computer programmer. Well that lasted a whole two seconds as I couldn't see myself sitting behind a desk all day long. ​When my daughter was 3 years old I decided I wanted to have a career where I could support my family and still be a mother to Amber. I have been a hairstylist in Ames since 2007, and decided to go out on my own in 2012 as a booth renter. Which has been an amazing journey so far. I am very blessed to be able to work in a career that is so rewarding. Making my guest feel inspired, desired, and that they can always achieve their style with a experience like no other before is of the utmost importance to me. I have recently moved to the Ankeny area and am renting a salon suite with Salon515.
