QUESTIONS TO THINK ABOUT:

1. Are there times when I feel alone and/or isolated? If so, when?
2. Why did God create the light and darkness?
3. Take some time to sit still before God outside in a quiet area. Look up at the sky and reflect on how God created everything you see and how He promises to never leave us.

So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you. – Deuteronomy 31:6

The Story of Creation

Though it can be hard to admit, there are times when we feel all alone. We know that God loves us, but some days are just really hard. When experiencing pain in any way, we tend to feel like we are suffering all by ourselves, leading us to feel alone and isolated. We may think no one understands what I am going through. But when in the midst of our darkest moments, what if we were to take the time to think about God’s creation and how God perfectly created and placed the moon and stars in the sky and how He created the light during the day and the darkness through the night. Because God created both the light and the darkness, we can take comfort in knowing that God is always with us. Even when we sin and when we face our most difficult moments, God is with us. There is nothing we could ever do that could make God stop loving us. So when we look up at God’s beautiful creation, we can take comfort in reflecting on how God is with us all through the day and all through the night. He is always with us. Me.

GOD IS ALWAYS WITH ME.
