In this podcast, Three good pals, Paul, Morgan & Stevo, are sequentially re-reading their shared favourite series of books - the 87th Precinct novels. Along the way, they look at the context and time in which they were written, their influence and influences and absolutely anything else that might come to mind. They offer a uniquely British perspective on this most American of literature, with plenty of nonsense thrown in along the way. This is three pals hoping to share their love of reading these books with you, something that has been at the heart of their friendship for a long time. They hope to keep the spotlight on Ed McBain and encourage you to explore and share in their passion. Please feel free to get involved through social media (Hark87Podcast on all the things) or via email - Hark87Podcast@gmail.com
