HH32: Stop Criticizing Your Body
Manage episode 233266194 series 2420240
Today I want to talk about letting go of the negative view we have when it comes to our own bodies. As women, we tend to look into the mirror and not see the beauty that is reality staring back at us. We instead, shame ourselves into thinking that we need to look like that edited picture on Instagram in order to feel beautiful. When the fact is the filtered image isn’t even attainable because it is an edited fantasy. They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, no matter who tells you that you are beautiful; or how many times they say it; you will never feel that way unless you are beholding it yourself. By not being comfortable sitting in your own magic you will miss out on the beauty that is truly you both inside and out.
