We've all been there, whether it's a beer festival, a pub/bar, or a bottle shop. The inappropriate comments, the patronizing attitude, the disbelief that you, a woman, loves and knows about beer. It's irritating, infuriating, and frankly, we are tired of it. Dani Neal, one of the founders and creators of Beer and Sexism, a website that tells the stories of women who work in beer, is my guest this week. This subject is especially relevant given the recent backlash against sexist beer labels and because of the BA's strong stance supporting women and minorities from problematic behaviour. Beer and Sexism posts those stories to drive change in the industry. I love that this website exists, and as a result, this is a great interview about an timely subject. Let's hear your feedback about your own experiences as a woman in beer. Check out their website to share your story. The show also lives on iTunes and Stitcher, therefore leaving a rating and review helps the show reach a wide audience. Say hi on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram! Find me on Untappd too! Thank you for listening. Your support makes this podcast a beautiful thing.
