Under the guidance of manager Dick Scott, Oliver transitioned to the US at 20, entering the music industry as Oil de Oliva-T. After returning to acting, he appeared in films like The Long Road (2008) and Ready? OK! (2008), and TV shows, including The Good Guys and Leverage. Oliver has hosted Young Hollywood since 2007, models for brands like Allsaints, and supports Not For Sale against human trafficking.
