Are you that kind of person who loves to have a sip of that wine during or after finishing a stressful task? Or are you a beer person who treats himself with an ice-cold bottle of draft beer after a long day’s work?

We all have heard about the benefits of alcohol on our body. The antioxidants that it contains, its relaxing effects, and simply the overall feeling of ease that it gives us. It is hard to imagine a month – or even a week without treating yourself with your liquor of choice.

But the thing is, yes, it is true that it soothes you, but only in that very moment. After the kick is gone, there comes its negative effects on you, which are often the opposite of the sensations that it. And yes, the negative effects of it both come in short and long terms. So, while it is a fact that it does have benefits for your body, it is not as harmless as you think.
