Legendary philosopher and gender theorist Judith Butler met with Danish journalist Lotte Folke Kaarsholm in front of a live audience on this year’s Heartland Festival to discuss the future of gender politics.

Judith Butler is perhaps one of the most important and influential gender theorists of all time. Her work and theories on gender, feminism, and ethics has had enormous political and social significance. In this talk Butler discuss why there is still fear and shame connected to gender identity and sexuality and how this can be changed for the better.
