The primary lesson we will learn from this study: Yeshua gave the Torah at Mt Sinai. In order to understand that this is so, there is another key Torah principle that we need to understand: that the people, Israel, the Torah and the Messiah are all ONE. You cannot separate Israel from Torah or Torah from Messiah or Messiah from Israel. They are all connected to each other. In this lesson we will look into the scriptures to see how this is so. In this lesson, Eddie breaks down the first word in Genesis 1:1, breisheet, and shows how this word, in Hebrew, reveals to us that the Father built a house for his son, the firstborn, to dwell in, and invites Israel, his people to dwell there also, based upon a covenant relationship with Yahweh, and the covenant is the Torah. A common misconception is that it was the Jews who came into covenant with the God of Israel at Mt Sinai. This is not so: And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself. Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine. Exodus 19:3-5 The marriage proposal was give to the house of Jacob, which includes Judah (the Jews) and the other 11 tribes also (the non-Jewish part of the nation of Israel). It is at Mt Sinai, that Israel, (the house of Jacob, all 12 tribes), the Torah and the Messiah are going to be in covenant with each other.
