Never Forget How You Felt That Day
The Venetian was the place where Ashley and Matthew celebrated their wedding. Ashley wore a gorgeous Monique Lhuillier dress and her bridesmaids complimented her in luminescent, chiffon, champagne bridesmaid dresses. From Snow to personalized Wine bottles, this wedding had a lot to remember.Podcast Highlights
Funny Story
When the boys needed to get ready, they realized none of the suspenders fit them. They got child-size ones, and somebody had to run to the store to change.
Stressful moment: DIY Menus and invitations (embossing and press). Shed a few tears in the process.
Best decision: Even though it wasn’t a winter-themed wedding, they booked snow for the first dance. And it made it much more special.
Biggest stress: Weather stressed her out. She was obsessed checking the weather, as if she could control it. But in the end it was 66 degrees and sunny, the warmest day of the month.
Budget advice: They did an off-season wedding, that cut prices. We prioritized the non-negotiable. In this case: Photographer, Band and the Venue (the Venetian).
What would you do differently: Hire a Rolls Royce Limo for after the Church and Pictures.
Vendors: Entertainment Company and MC: Sound Image-Faze 4 / Videographer: Kvibe Productions / Hair Dresser: Jamie Branin / Makeup Artist: Beauty By: Ashley Marie / Florist: Michael’s Florist / Bridesmaids Dress Designer: Jim Hjelm / Wedding Gown Designer: Monique Lhuillier / Groom’s Attire: Dante Zeller Tuxedo / Groomsmen’s Attire: Menswear
FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER: Ashley and Matthew’s Venetian wedding was absolutely gorgeous. Normally, I get very nervous the first wedding of the season but I couldn’t have asked for a better day, couple or team to be with this day! The weather turned out fantastic considering it has been a bit chilly here in New Jersey, and the sun came out just in time for photos!
Planners and apps: Pinterest and TheKnot.com
Marriage advice: “Never forget the way you felt on your wedding day and the moments leading up to that… event though you can’t bottle those emotions, try to occasionally reflect back on what got you to that point on the first place.”
