The NBL Cup is now underway after the first 8 games in 4 days and all of that is broken down by the one and only Scoring Machine Shawn Redhage. He gives his thoughts on what he's liked about the NBL Cup so far, who has impressed him and what's stood out to him.

We then discuss his thoughts on Bryce Cotton's performance that he likened to Michael Jordan's famous flu game in the NBA Finals and then also talks about his Australian citizenship taking a step forward and what it means for him and the Perth Wildcats.

Talk then turns to key injuries to Lamar Patterson, Majok Deng and Jarell Martin with Shawn offering some thoughts on the plight of the New Zealand Breakers.

It's then time for Shawn to provide his votes in the Hoops Heaven Player of the Year award as things tighten up on the leaderboard.

Next up and it's #TheDamo Award as Boomering presents the Best Defensive Player from Damian Martin. We discuss his thoughts on the NBL Cup so far, why he is so excited about it and then we get his latest votes in the award named in his honour.
