Defy Intimidation!
We are called to a higher level!
- There’s always something that tries to keep you out of the place you’re supposed to be It will use every tactic to tell you that you don’t belong there, that you don’t qualify, that you’re not worthy, that you’re not smart enough and the list goes on and on. It will say anything and everything to persuade you to get in agreement with it. Its goal is to talk to you until you surrender and believe what it says. It wants you to see it as a giant. It wants you to think of it as a giant. It wants you to talk about it as if it is a giant.
What is its strategy?

- The action of intimidating someone, or the state of being intimidated
Intimidate
- To make timid or frightened; to scare, especially to compel or deter by or as if by threats To discourage, restrain, or silence illegally Unlawful act of intentionally coercing or frightening someone to do (or not to do)
Intimidation comes to keep you from walking through the open doors
- To keep you from the higher levels To keep you from the place of success To keep you from the position of wealth To keep you from walking in everything God says is yours
INTIMIDATION COMES TO KEEP YOU WHERE YOU ARE AND TO KEEP YOU FROM WHERE YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE.
INTIMIDATION IS ALWAYS AN INDICATION TO MOVE FORWARD!
Intimidation works along with the spirit of pride. It wants you to look at yourself instead of God
- I’m not good enough
- I don’t know enough
- I don’t have enough
- The trick is to get you to compare your I list to the so called giant. When this so called giant comes do you look at your I list or do you remember that you are a child of the great I AM, the God who is MORE THAN ENOUGH?
IF INTIMIDATION COMES AGAINST YOU, YOU MUST LEARN TO COME AGAINST IT!
Since intimidation wants to present itself as a giant let’s read the story of David & Goliath.
Pay close attention to how David handled Goliath. Listen to what Holy Spirit says to you about situations in your life. Make notes for yourself. Put yourself in the Word. Today YOU are David!
