On Aug. 6, 1994, in the dead of night, a tragedy occurred for Kevin Boyd Sr. when he was bludgeoned and murdered in his home in Lake Orion, MI.
“By the way, I’m pretty sure it’s cold as balls right now in Michigan, so I’m sorry for all of you guys that are there at the moment.” – Tabitha (7:28)
While the investigation of the brutal crime led the police in several different directions, they tried to follow all possible leads to the killer, including random people he encountered and individuals that came across his belongings after his death. They even suspected the mob might be involved at one point, though Gretchen and Tabitha quickly debunked that possibility.
“I just want to say that I don’t think there’s a lot of mob hanging out in Lake Orion…” – Gretchen (26:53)
