“Each person shall have a right to clean air and water, and a healthful environment.” That’s the language of recently passed state senate bill S528 to amend the New York state Constitution. It’s also known as the “environmental bill of rights” or the "green amendment." To talk about what this amendment means, HMM's Alexis Goldsmith was joined by the lead sponsor of the amendment, State Senator Robert Jackson. This is part 2 of their conversation.
