"My grade 1 teacher told me I had a terrible voice and instructed me to stand in the back and be quiet. So for most of my life I did everything I could to do just that - stay small and be quiet. Until one day during the pandemic something snapped - I finally gathered the courage to find my voice. I set about leaving a toxic marriage. It was the bravest thing I ever had to do. And then like some huge pipe had been cleared - after nearly 20 years - I started painting again.
Finding my voice literally saved my life.
And I experienced so much joy that I knew I had to find a way to share it, so I launched The Creative Genius Podcast to help other people JUST LIKE YOU find their own voices, and inner Creative Geniuses - it has quickly grown to be one of the top 1.5% of podcasts, globally.
For 15 years my work as a professional artist has been through Morning Moon Nature Jewelry which I sold in person at Granville Island Public Market
I am an artist down to the very core of my being, it is infused into every single aspect of my life. Stones, leather, textiles, eco-printing, quilting, knitting, weaving, basketry, sculpture, beadwork - something deep within me wants to, needs to experience making it all.
Here on this website I will share with you my paintings, my jewelry, my knowledge (for example, I made you this list of my very favourite art supplies ) and my conversations with some of the brightest and most creatively free hearts & minds of our time.
All of it is from my heart. All if it is from Love. All of it is for you.
