In this episode (She taught me how to love), I continue my conversation with the father of a friend, who's been married for almost 30 years, and examine his journey towards getting married at a young age and his personal growth over time.

We discuss the importance of developing a solid relationship with the in-laws. We talk about the perspective of treating your marriage like a family business. We share our thoughts on navigating the process to identify areas of improvement in a relationship. We highlight the mindshift and lessons learned in becoming a husband and a father at the same time. We explain the importance of showing up for your partner, especially during critical seasons of life. We dive deep on the need to accept family and cultural norms that your partner may have. We also uncover the lasting impact that being affectionate can have on children and how that’s something that some men have to actively work on.
