On this week's episode of I'm Over It, I sit down with Jillian Mercado.

Jillian Mercado is an actress and model, currently acting on The L Word: Generation Q. She is one of the first models with a visible physical disability (due to muscular dystrophy) and has continually challenged beauty standards in the fashion industry. Throughout her career, Jillian has worked to fight for representation and tackle stigmas associated with the disabled community.

Listen to us talk about turning sadness into a driving force for change, being vulnerable in uncharted territory, and representing disabilities in the media.

A big thank you to our partner H&M
