Merry Christmas and happy WUDC to you all - I know you are most likely getting on a plane in the next day or so to travel to WUDC 2017, so here's a special episode to help the flight go a bit faster!

I had the chance to talk to Sheldon Horowitz who is a speech teacher at St. John's with me but also debated in college during the 1950s. We talk about debate rules, norms, who was doing it, the topics, the judges, and much much more. Hope this is the first in a long series exploring the oral history of debating from those who were there
