Performing arts venues have been shuttered for over a year and reopening is not as simple as just lifting capacity limits. In our second installment of “The Callback,” host Joey Lovato and intern Sean Golonka talk with Myron Martin, president and CEO of The Smith Center in Las Vegas, and Dennyse Sewell, managing director at the Pioneer Center in Reno, about being closed for over a year now. After that, reporter Jacob Solis talks with UNR president and former governor and Brian Sandoval about the university’s plans moving forward. At the end of the show, reporter Riley Snyder and assistant editor Michelle Rindels give an update on the Legislature during deadline week.
